The Director of Care Services oversees the delivery of high-quality care in senior care facilities, such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home health agencies. Main Responsibilities :
- Leadership and management :
- Manages nursing and care staff and provides guidance and support to ensure high quality of care.
- Recruit, train and evaluate the performance of your staff and promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Development of care programs :
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents.
- Ensure that care programs are evidence-based and aligned with best practices in elderly care.
- Regulatory Compliance :
- Ensure that the facility complies with all state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance protocols.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in care delivery.
- Quality assurance :
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and implement corrective actions if necessary.
- Collect and analyze data on care outcomes, resident satisfaction, and staff performance.
Qualifications :
- Education : A bachelor's or master's degree in nursing, health care administration, gerontology, or a related field is typically required.
