3DNET ElderCare member introduction video:
Web conferencing allows for both data and audio transmissions to be shared as part of a meeting. This data can be in the form of some form of video, but can also include the sharing of documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. In addition, web conferencing often includes a wider range of tools that a moderator can use to control a meeting. Unlike video conferencing, no special equipment is usually required; a web conference can be attended from virtually any computer with an Internet connection and sufficient resources to support the data transmission. Web conferencing can include audio streaming over the Internet or use an independent connection via a telephone line.
Please note that video conferencing has a much higher bandwidth requirement than a simple video call. A typical estimate for a decent quality video session is 1 Mbps for each participant. If HD video quality is important, this is a minimum. Now, each participant must also have the same connectivity facilities, otherwise they risk missing a large part of the session and ruining the entire collective experience. 3DNET can provide all of these basic requirements for an enjoyable experience that other traditional venues may not be able to provide.
